Town Clerk

The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, to serve the residents of Queensbury.

A multi-faceted office, residents of the Town of Queensbury can obtain anything from Dog Licenses, Marriage Licenses, Handicapped Parking Permits, Lake George Boat Registrations, Hunting and Fishing Licenses, and Death or Birth Certificates. We also provide information on Town Board Meetings and act as Head Cashier for all Departments. The Clerk's office is responsible for all municipal records. Residents needing assistance in finding information may, at any time, contact the Clerk's office.

We often refer to our office as the traffic coordinator for Queensbury. We welcome any questions from our constituents and will go out of our way to either locate the information for you, or when necessary, refer you to the correct office from which your answers may be obtained.

The Receiver of Taxes Office has been combined with the Town Clerk's Office. This department is responsible for collecting taxes for the Town of Queensbury, County of Warren, Crandall Library, and the following school districts in the Town: Queensbury, Lake George, and Hudson Falls. Water rents, as well as sewer rents, are also collected by this office for the Town.

Service to the public is the first rule of our office.
