Housing Grant Applications
The Town of Queensbury Town Board submitted the grant applications detailed below to continue our home improvement programs. This application was developed as an outgrowth of the Affordable Housing Opportunities Strategy and the recommendation to support and enhance affordable housing within existing neighborhoods.
Governor's Office for Small Cities (GOSC)
The Governor's Office for Small Cities (GOSC) - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Application was presented to the GOSC in April, 2005, with a request for $400,000 to improve homes for low and moderate income persons in the West Glens Falls area.
Please note that these funds are awarded on a competitive basis. This means that there is no guarantee that funds will be granted. Notification of grant awards should be made sometime in the early fall 2005 by the GOSC. Please refer to the GOSC website for additional information and announcements.
