West Glens Falls/South Queensbury Housing Rehabilitation Program
In August 2004, the Town of Queensbury was awarded a grant of $400,000 for housing rehabilitation assistance from the NYS Division of Housing & Community Renewal (DHCR).
In May 2005, the Town received notice of a $151,200 grant award from the NYS Affordable Housing Corporation . See the press release. 
Together, these funds are being used by the town to provide financial assistance to income eligible owner-occupied single family homes in need of rehabilitation in the West Glens Falls and South Queensbury neighborhoods. Grants for eligible households are available up to $20,000. For project costs that exceed the $20K maximum grant, low interest loans of up to $5,000 may be available.
