Main Street Project
Warren County and its engineers are currently designing reconstruction of Broad Street/Main Street/Corinth Road from Exit 18 to the City of Glens Falls boundary. At this time the start of reconstruction is planned for 2007. The Town of Queensbury has been actively pursuing several enhancements to the reconstruction including a connector road from Main Street to Luzerne Road, and
streetscape improvements. The Town has also planned rehabilitation of the existing water mains and the establishment of a new sewer district that will fund construction of new sewer mains from Western Avenue to Big Bay Road.

We anticipate that the Main Street Corridor will be the target of redevelopment so we've adopted new zoning regulations and building design guidelines. The Mixed Use (MU) designation along much of Main Street allows for a variety of professional and retail uses and encourages two and three story structures with offices and residences on the upper
floors. The Main Street design guidelines provide additional feedback on building location/placement and architecture. Use the links on our webpage to connect to maps
