Open Space Vision Plan (33 pages) See the results of community discussions over the past year for an open space vision for Queensbury.

Vision Map (1 page) Displayed is the core vision of areas the community thought most important and worth promoting to attain open space and passive recreation goals.

Appendix A - Action Plan (25 pages) The Action Plan summarizes the many recommendations for activities and projects resulting from community input during the Open Space Plan Committee's community planning meetings series.

Appendix B - List Of Open Space Plan Committee Members (1 page) Open Space Plan Committee members were appointed by the Town Board and reflect a wide variety of interests.

Appendix C - Glossary (9 pages) The glossary of definitions should help you understand terminology unique to planning and open space conservation. In some instances, more than one definition is shown.

Appendix D - Historic, Scenic and Cultural Resources Pilot Project (4 pages) See this document for an example of how Queensbury's heritage hamlet areas can be preserved and promoted.

Appendix E - Trail Classifications(1 page) This appendix outlines the different types of trails that can be created for bicycle and pedestrian use.

Appendix F - Focus Group Sessions Summary (10 pages) A summary of comments heard from a variety of interest groups in the Town of Queensbury is provided.

Appendix G - Open Space Design Workshops Summary (10 pages) Over 70 people participated in a Saturday design workshop to help create Queensbury's Open Space Vision. Summary notes shown here reflect ideas stated. Notes summarizing a separate session held with Queensbury High School students are also listed.

Appendix H - A Report on the Open Space Survey (13 pages) This report, based on a survey done for the Open Space Plan Committee by the Queensbury Land Conservancy, Inc. (QLC), was sent to all mail addresses in the Queensbury and Glens Falls.
