The Planning Office is charged with long-range planning, maintenance of the Town's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, capital planning, and technical research and support.
Our professional staff is currently working on development of the Town's Open Space Plan, Ward 4 Housing Rehabilitation project, evaluation of 2000 Census Data, the Main Street Plan, and Route 9/254 Congestion improvements.
The staff also provides technical support to our office as well as other departments with Geographic Information System (GIS) assistance, technical research and analysis, and compliance with State (SEQRA) and Federal (NEPA) environmental review requirements.
