Glen Lake Canoe Access
Glen Lake Road
A small public canoe/cartop boat access site on Glen Lake, adjacent to the Docksider Restaurant (west side) is maintained by the department. There is limited parking at this launch site which is open from dawn to dusk, April through October.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in September 2004 introducing the improvements made to the Glen Lake Canoe Access. Improvements included razing a vacant building, improved water access (including installation of a floating boat dock), a "dry fire hydrant" for use by the Bay Ridge Fire Department and increased parking.
