To date, Buildings and Grounds maintains three on-site facilities, as well as eight additional off-site properties.  Two of these properties are the Town Court located on Glenwood Avenue, and another, the State Police Barracks located on Aviation Road across from the Queensbury High School.

Depending on the season, Buildings & Grounds crews can be seen either mowing lawns or plowing parking lots, not to mention the on-going behind the scenes building repair and maintenance functions. One of the higher profile buildings on the town hall property is the Queensbury Activity Center. This building hosts a wide variety of functions ranging from the town board meetings to daily senior citizen programs. It is the responsibility of the Buildings and Grounds Department to break down, clean, and set up the building to meet these daily requirements.
