GGFT Bus Services (Year-Round)

Greater Glens Falls Transit (GGFT) provides safe, reliable, low cost public, fixed route bus transit services and ADA complementary transit services to the greater Glens Falls area year round, Monday through Saturday (seven days per week during the Lake George summer tourist season).

GGFT’s service area includes:

Warren County

  • City of Glens Falls
  • Town of Lake Goerge
  • Town of Queensbury

Washington County

  • Town and Village of Fort Edward
  • Town of Kingsbury
  • Village of Hudson Falls

Saratoga County

  • Town of Moreau
  • Village of South Glens Falls

GGFT Bus Transit Fare Information: $1.00 (all points between Lake George and Glens Falls). 50 cents for persons aged 60+ and those with disabilities. 50 cents for transfers between buses.

GGFT Trolley Services

The GGFT (Greater Glens Falls Transit) operates Red Trolley Services, with service North and South during the summer season from Lake George to Glens Falls (South), and Lake George to Bolton Landing (South). Southbound trolley services make stops at the Lake George Outlets, in Queensbury at Six Flags Great Escape, and Glens Falls. Northbound trolley services make stops in Lake George Village, Lake Shore Rd, & Diamond Pt. The GGFT trolleys operate several routes, seven days per week along Rte. 9 between Glens Falls and Lake George. There is a sign displayed on the front window of each trolley identifying their route.

In Lake George, all trolley routes pick-up and transfer passengers on Beach Road near the Steamboats. Routes run about every 20 to 30 minutes.

Children 5 & under are free. GGFT operates trolley service to and from the Lake George area during the summer season.
