Revaluation Project 2015
The Town of Queensbury completed a town-wide revaluation in 2015 and all properties are assessed at 100% of full market value. The purpose of the Revaluation Project was to establish fair and equitable values. The Assessors’ Office will conduct a systematic analysis of all assessments of real property within the Town of Queensbury annually to maintain a 100% level of assessment that is current with market conditions.
Assessments will be updated every May 1st, the date by which the Tentative Assessment Roll is published for public inspection.
Although the Assessor will review your assessment at any time during the year, once the Final Assessment Roll is competed for July 1st, assessments can’t be changed until the next May 1st.
Any request for an assessment review should include supporting documentation. Keep in mind that for assessment purposes all buildings are measured using the OUTSIDE dimensions.
