TOWN BOARD MEETINGS: PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Public Meeting Formats: Physical and Virtual (Live) Town of Queensbury Town Board Meetings

During the COVID-19 pandemic the Town of Queensbury will be providing alternative meeting formats for all Queensbury Town Board meetings. Meetings will continue as scheduled, with online availability and the following changes:

Board Meeting Format:

• Town Board members will be physically present at the Town’s Activities Center building.
• The public will be allowed to physically attend but must abide by the Town’s posted COVID-19 Activity Center building rules.
• The public will also be allowed to remote view live as shown above.
• The public will be allowed to speak to the Town Board during announced Privilege of the Floor parts of the agenda either in person (if present at the Activities Center) or by calling in (518 761- 8225).

This meeting will be convened in accordance with the Governor’s March 13, 2020 Executive Order 202.1, which suspends certain provisions of the Open meetings Law to allow a municipal Board to convene a meeting via videoconferencing. In accordance with the Executive order, the public has been provided with the ability to view Monday night’s meeting and a transcript will be provide at a later date.
