DIRECTOR OF BUILDING & CODE ENFORCEMENT
This position is in charge of the building and code enforcement department and is responsible for reviewing all plans and specifications submitted with applications for local building permits. The work involves the inspection of buildings both erected and under construction for compliance with the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and zoning. It also includes the management of Code Enforcement Officers and the Fire Marshall and Deputy Fire Marshal.

CLEANER – Evening Shift
The Town of Queensbury Facilities Department has an opening for an Evening Shift Cleaner. This position is full-time with a work schedule of Monday – Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. This position is part of the local CSEA Union, Unit #9007-00, and Warren County Local 857.

Alternate Crossing Guard
The Town of Queensbury is currently accepting applications for an Alternate Crossing Guard for Queensbury schools on Aviation Rd. This position fills in on call for the regular guards who’s hours are 7:00-8:30 am and 2:00 to 3:30 pm and follows the school calendar, excluding snow days. The hours can be more at times of greater need, and sometimes advanced notice, paid training. Possibility to become a regular when position opens. Hourly wage is $19.90 per hour.
